My Everyday Necessities

Updated: Feb 8, 2022

Being a full time, working mom is not easy! Heck, just being a mom is a full time job! Although I have the luxury of working from home right now, I have found that these few tools help my day go smoothly so I (hopefully) don't forget anything and make the day go smoothly!

My Physical Planner

All Happy Planner Options > https://amzn.to/3zZJsig

My physical planner is affordable to begin with and its on sale on Amazon right now! I use my physical planner for further planning, my baking orders, grocery shopping lists, and meal planning! I love finding fun stickers on Etsy or you can even find ones made by the same company as the planner itself! I have a physical planner and a digital planner. (You'll find out about that here in a minute!) Some people would say this is excessive but I don't trust technology 100% and I always like to have a back up plan! I've included a photo of the layout I have and the one I prefer. My mom got this one for me for Christmas and I love that it has motivation quotes, my last one didn't have this!

This is the vertical layout option! They do have a horizontal option!

My Digital Planner

The Floret App

I found this app about a month ago and I bit the bullet and paid the $15.99 for the premium version. It's been a game changer! It is a habit tracker, event tracker, to do list, gratitude tracker, and daily diary! It has super cute graphics and its very user friendly. If you have an updated version of iOS on your iPhone, you can put a widget on your Home Screen that is customized. I did it so I have a month view calendar and my to do list right there so I don't even have to open the app to see those two things! I have been absolutely loving it and would highly recommend it. One thing to note that sold me was it is $15.99 but you only have to pay it once! There's no monthly fee to have it or use it.

If you fill out everything for the day, this is the daily view!

This is my home screen with the to do list/calendar view!

Loopy Case

Use codes LYNSEYHEDRICK or DARYLANN10 for a 10% discount!

Let me tell you, if you don't have a Loopy case buy one and trust me when I say you will never go back to another case. I got my mom, my sister in law, and my husband hooked on them now! It's a phone case that is not bulky and it has a rubber loop (able to hold 10 pounds so it isn't going anywhere!) so you can hold your phone hands free if needed - a mom WIN. How many times have you needed to hold your wallet, phone, and drink in one hand because you have a kid in the other? If you answered "countless" or "at least 100," go ahead and click that link and treat yourself. They even allow you to pay with PayPal so you can split the purchase up into four equal payments, interest free, and it comes out of your bank account automatically every two weeks!

Loopy has so many colors available and every phone from iPhone 6-13, Google, and Android!

Andar Denner Wallet

Sign up for their emails for a 10% discount!

This wallet was one of those things I was very hesitant to spend $60 on myself to buy. After three debit cards lost and having to call Taylor at least twice a week to ask if he had seen my car key I decided to take the plunge. It holds my debit card, license, insurance cards, grocery store discount cards, and cash! It has a wrist strap so you can carry it *hands free!* However, if you click the link, you may notice that they are sold out. This is very normal of this wallet. They do restock quite a bit so put your email in to be notified when they restock! They will allow you to pay with Shopify Pay, which also allows. you to split the purchase up just like PayPal does with the Loopy Cases!

Home Chef

Click our referral link for $35 off your first box!

Some people are going to disagree and tell me that food subscription services are not worth it but I beg to differ. With the discounts Home Chef offers and the convenience of the meals, I just love it. I know it seems too simple of a "review" but for real. Some of the dishes you pour into a pan that is disposable and they provide, stick it in the oven, and eat. As a busy mom, I don't have to go to the grocery store and I can cook it in a matter of minutes - its 100% worth it to me. Now, I only have to feed two adults so if you have a larger family or teenagers in your house, I can see where it wouldn't be as cost effective. We have tried Hello Fresh and Home Chef and we prefer Home Chef due to the convenience but we loved Hello Fresh as well! (I'll be making a post reviewing Hello Fresh, Home Chef, Every Plate, and Marley Spoon in early March! We're working our way through these different subscriptions so we can give a good review of a variety of boxes!) We order three meals a week and they arrive on Monday around 1 o'clock in the afternoon in a cooler box!

Here is our Hello Fresh referral link if you'd like to try it after you try Home Chef or instead of Home Chef! > https://bit.ly/3A16uoV

At the end of the day, all of these items could be considered luxury items that no one really needs. However, they sure do make my life easier! Let me know if you try any of the items I mentioned, I'd love to hear your thoughts!
